This rather poor image is the only shot I have of probably the most famous wolf pack in the world. So I was saddened when I received the news that the Druid Peak Pack was possibly no more. BBC Wildlife Magazine letter

I have had a letter published in BBC Wildlife magazine. The edited and published copy and the original are shown below.
I will state here and I do not want anybody to misunderstand me on this. I am not advocating the use of trained models or the hired by the hour animals in some of those dreadful North American game ranches.What I am advocating is the use of captive animals living a naturally as possible belonging to organisations who have the whole species welfare at heart, for example, the International Wolf centre in Ely, Minnesota. ...more
